Kinda droopy today
Howdy! Hope everyone had a good week. Max and I had a slow day…he seems just a little out of sorts today. He’s having a big case of “mommy-itis”. Hey, he’s been doing so well to this point, a slow and droopy day is OK. I did notice that he’s been coughing a little the last few days…has anyone else run into this?

Hi Lisa,
It’s only been a short time and Max has already done so well…With all of the pain meds and adjustments – he probably is still tired. It’s not easy hopping around – I tried it and got tired very fast!!! (keep an eye on his coughing & do call the doctor – just to be sure)
Indy’s first week was tough and the 2nd week he did better than the first..and the third so much better than the 2nd! I noticed after the first week Indy was breathing very rapidly & I was so scared…however…he soon perked up and got better and better. Almost 17 months later..he still is by our sides…so full of lovely kisses!!

I can’t speak to the coughing issue, but the droopiness matches what most people seem to experience. It certainly matches my experience with Dakota. His droopiness declined to the point of what looked like depression. Maybe it was the meds, maybe it was boredom, maybe it was cabin fever. He never told me.
You might want to ask a question in the forums (maybe the vet one) about the coughing since you’re into the weekend now.
